Welcome to Cruu. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Cruu Inc. ("Cruu," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in the State of Florida. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Cruu mobile application, website at mycruu.com, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading the Cruu app, or otherwise accessing the Platform, you represent that:

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

Section 02

Description of Service

Cruu is a mobile auto service platform that connects vehicle owners with certified independent auto technicians for on-location maintenance and repair services. Through the Cruu app and website, you can:

Important: Cruu is a booking and platform service. The auto maintenance and repair work is performed by independent certified technicians. While Cruu vets and approves all technicians on the Platform, individual technicians are not employees of Cruu Inc.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform or any part thereof at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Platform.

Section 03

User Accounts & Responsibilities

Account Registration

To book services through Cruu, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information including your name, email address, phone number, and vehicle details. You agree to keep this information current and accurate.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must:

Cruu is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials.

Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate vehicle information (make, model, year, and any relevant service history) when booking appointments. Providing incorrect vehicle information may result in the technician being unable to complete the service and may result in a cancellation fee.

One Account Per User

You may maintain only one personal Cruu account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions, bans, or limitations is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts.

Section 04

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Booking Confirmation

When you submit a booking request through the Platform, you will receive a confirmation notification once the appointment is accepted. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive this confirmation. Service pricing displayed in the app is the final price you will be charged, with no hidden fees.

Cancellation by User

You may cancel a confirmed appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booked service price, to compensate the technician for their reserved time.

Cancellation window: Cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment for a full refund. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.

No-Show Policy

If our technician arrives at the confirmed service address and you are not present, or access to the vehicle is not provided within 15 minutes of arrival, the appointment will be marked as a no-show and the full service price may be charged.

Cancellation by Cruu or Technician

In the event that Cruu or an assigned technician needs to cancel your appointment (due to weather, equipment failure, technician unavailability, or other circumstances), you will be notified as soon as possible and offered a full refund or free rebooking at your earliest convenience. No cancellation fee will be charged in these cases.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule an appointment without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Rescheduling within 24 hours is treated as a cancellation and may be subject to the cancellation fee described above.

Section 05

Payment Terms

Payment Processing

All payments on the Cruu Platform are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. By submitting a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Cruu does not store your full credit or debit card number on its own servers.

Currency & Pricing

All prices are displayed and charged in United States Dollars (USD). Service prices are shown upfront before you confirm a booking. The price displayed at the time of booking is the price you will be charged, subject to any add-on services requested and agreed upon during the appointment.

Authorized Charges

By providing a payment method, you authorize Cruu to charge the payment method for:

Refunds

Refunds for cancelled appointments (within the free-cancellation window) are typically processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at support@mycruu.com within 30 days of the charge.

Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, use tax, or other taxes associated with your use of the Platform, where required by law.

Section 06

Technician Services & Warranty

Technician Vetting

All technicians on the Cruu Platform are independently vetted and must meet Cruu's certification and background check requirements before being approved. However, technicians are independent contractors, not employees of Cruu Inc.

Service Warranty

Warranties on services and parts are provided by the individual technician or parts supplier, not by Cruu Inc. directly. Details of any service warranty will be communicated by the technician at the time of service. For warranty claims on completed work, please contact us at support@mycruu.com and we will connect you with the relevant technician.

Service Outcomes

While Cruu takes reasonable steps to ensure quality service, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for all repairs or maintenance work, particularly where pre-existing conditions of the vehicle affect the result. If you are unsatisfied with a service, please contact us within 72 hours of the completed appointment.

Section 07

Intellectual Property

The Cruu Platform, including its design, graphics, logos, text, software, and all other content, is the exclusive property of Cruu Inc. and its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

In any event, Cruu Inc.'s total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to Cruu in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Section 11

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issue informally. If you have a complaint or dispute with Cruu, please email us at support@mycruu.com. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

Jurisdiction

For any dispute that cannot be resolved informally, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. You waive any objection to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.

Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may delete your account.
